Family Quail Hunt!

We had a wonderful late season hunt with Joe, Linda, Heath and Garret who celebrated his 13th birthday with us. Only his second time quail hunting, Garret was a crack shot and demonstrated his thorough understanding of gun safety. Very impressive! It was fun to see three generations quail hunting together. And Linda’s recent ankle surgery did not deter her from accompanying the family on the hunt.

Early November Hunts!

Davis Quail Hunts is in full swing…and the quail hunting is fantastic! We’re having a wonderful time with all our guests — lots of them hunting with us for the first time and many returning to enjoy the great quail hunting, our exiting bird dogs and our Southern home cooking again!

Barry Rich brought his family on this hunt along with some friends.
They had a terrific hunt and really enjoyed the “turnip green soup”!

Mr. Zales is always a pleasure and his group was a delight to hunt with.
They made many great shots over Libby and Joe; keeping Frack and Charlie
on the go. Great hunting!

Early December Hunts

We’ve been hunting quail and enjoying many new and old guests nonstop here at Davis Quail Hunts!

Our friend, John Marsh brought his uncle Albert and they had a wonderful day. John was among the quail hunters photographed for this website and our brochure. We were thrilled to have him here again along with his uncle.

We also had a wonderful time with guest, Charles Morris and his friends who hunted at DQH for a couple of days.

A fun time hunting was had by all. With Colvin are “Charlie” the cocker spaniel and our newest member of the team “Freckles”.

November Quail Hunting at DQH!

We’re in full swing here at Davis Quail Hunts and we’re having a great fall quail season. Our pre-release program is proving most successful. We had some new guests including Mark and Robert who saw us in the Gun & Garden story! They had a fabulous time gunning over Pete, Libby and Rick!

Last weekend we welcomed more new comers to DQH, Chuck and Richard, who also enjoyed some terrific gunning and dog work.

Our European-Style Tower Pheasant Shoots are a challenge to the best shooters and will sharpen your shooting skills with fast moving, high-flying excitement! Great for large groups and ideal for corporate entertaining with a minimum of 10 shooters and a maximum of 20. You will love the fast action and non-stop shooting!

•    100-200 pheasants are released from our 40 foot tower.
•    Equal opportunities are provided to each shooter by rotating their shooting position around the tower.
•    To ensure safety, positions allow for overhead shooting only.
•    Harvested pheasants are divided equally among all shooters.
•    Includes home cooked buffet lunch, snacks and drinks on the hunting wagon.
